How to Play
Daily
One puzzle per day
Every day a new puzzle is released with 5 color names. Your goal is to pick the color that matches each name using the color wheel.
After you tap Reveal, you'll see how close your guess was to the actual color, earn up to 100 points, and move on to the next round.
At the end you'll get a total score out of 500 and a shareable result to post with friends. Everyone plays the same puzzle — compare your scores!
Opposite
Think in reverse
Same puzzle as the daily — but instead of picking the color itself, you must pick its complementary (opposite) color.
Complementary colors sit opposite each other on the color wheel. Red → Cyan. Blue → Orange. Yellow → Purple.
Scoring works the same way: up to 100 points per round, 500 total. A great challenge once you've mastered Daily mode.
Infinite
No limits, no waiting
Endless rounds with randomly picked color names — no daily limit, no reset. Play as long as you like.
Each round gives you a new random color name. Use the color wheel to guess it, then reveal and see your score. Your running average is shown above the wheel.
Perfect for practicing your color knowledge before tackling the daily puzzle.
Scoring
Scores are calculated using the CIE94 color difference method, which measures how different two colors appear to the human eye — not just their RGB values.
A perfect match gives 100 points. The further your guess, the lower the score. Even a close guess usually scores 70+.
Color names come from the open-source color-names database . Some names are unusual — that's part of the fun.
